How can we tap into pools of knowledge to use cities and urban environments outside the officlally prescribed areas and routines? The installation in Berlin's Bikini House, situated right next to the Zoological Gardens, asked the visitors for information of these grey areas, such as short-cuts, toilet opportunities or tricks how to use public transport. The gathered information was processed and edited and ? together with author's comments and additional reference material ? displayed on this big noticeboard which became more and more dense and layered. At the end of the exhibition the notice sheets were auctioned for one Euro each and the raised money spent on Bananas which were fed to the Zoo's monkeys which had unintentionally provided the powerful soundscape for the show.
